Exterior makeovers are gaining popularity. However, a lot of people tend to assume this will change their home radically, and overnight. Consider your colour scheme.
Colour says a lot about you, the person residing within, so you’ll want to research the meaning of each particular colour, and pick the one that seems best for you. Ideally, try not to go for any neon colours, or anything too bright, as it can actually have a detrimental effect.
Once you’ve picked your main colour, consider shades and colours that complement that main one, and work around it. Just because you like both orange and blue, you might not want to have them both on your walls, as they can clash.
Take a look around.
When redoing your home, you also want to take a look around the neighborhood. Sure, pink can be a great colour on some streets, but it can also stand out in an ugly way in other parts of the world. So make sure you consider how your new home will blend in with the existing building.
Keep in mind what styles are in right now.
Whether or not you’re a trendy person will decide how much you want to follow current styles. You probably shouldn’t follow any trends that are too out there, as those tend to blow over rather quickly.
